An architect’s role in any project is identifying the line of what is just enough; this is often linked to budgets, zoning, and client requirements. Though we, as architects, are not the visionaries behind our projects, in many cases the client’s input carries more weight than that of any architect’s. It can be seen that the architect is the guide who brings the client to that line of what is just enough and helps find it within all the abstract constraints around a project; this is especially true in a developing economy.
