The project represents an attempt at a referential intervention in post-war architecture, primarily aiming to create a clear dialogue between the historical structure and the contemporary addition. Our intention was to preserve and emphasize the authentic identity of the post-war villa through the layering of materials and forms: traditional plaster meets a corten façade with frameless glazing. The pragmatic integration of new functions – the entrance, workspaces, and sanitary core – has been carried out in a way that does not disrupt the original genius loci, but rather strengthens it in relation to the demands of the 21st century.
