This small guest house has an exciting story where are woven symbols of time, place and men’s dreams. Years ago, the investor turned an abandoned rural supermarket into his first bread oven. Today he owns the most high-tech bakery in Southeast Europe, but the warm memory of his first oven nestled next to the old village church brought us together to create a place to keep and practice authentic bread-making technologies.
The concept of the house is subordinated to the philosophy of sustainability of simple solutions and deep traditions. Amidst magnetic nature and rural idyll, guests learn to live slowly, breathe deeply, open their senses in complete digital detox.
Only three materials are used in the exterior and interior – the typical for the region rough stone masonry made by local craftsmen, wood paneling and patinated metal with cut stylized tree trunks – the imprint of the centuries-old forests of the mystic Pirin Rhodope Mountains.
