The rich historical background of the building housing the restaurant inspired the architects to create a unique concept for the interior. The Soul Kitchen restaurant offers its customers not only unique kitchen, but the extraordinary experience of time travelling. All of the original materials in the interior are preserved – even the paint used on the walls contains the same ingredients as the one used 100 years ago. Everything in the restaurant hints of the different decades and stages that the house went through. The seating areas are thematically organized – a person can sit on a sophisticated table from the beginning of the 20th century, but when they look in the other direction they are welcomed by the sight of a neat 70’s seating. This reminder of past times is a relieving experience in everybody’s day to day life.
