The Seashore Rise

The Seashore Rise is a residential project designed by 314 Architecture Studio and developed by Euphoria Residencies. It is built in a 592.29 m2 plot and includes 4 private properties developing in 6 levels. The team was inspired by the location and the plots proximity to the coastline. The studio’s goal was to implement that constant smooth movement to a design that re-invents geometric expression in the urban scale of the neighborhood and in the context of the residence. The project serves as a prototype of possibilities and expression in the Athenian fabric. In order to articulate the movement, they organically designed the architectural elements of the balconies as unique organic volumes, that draw the visitor to the coastline, while offering privacy to the residences from the nearby developments. The geometrical shapes are translated into petals to the exterior of each floor that are reshaped and reformed on each level. The materiality of the interior and exterior is concentrated around implementing the coated in white reflective finish organic elements. Spanish Benadresa tiles were used for the floors and bathrooms in cararra staturario and classic cream design. Oak tree custom-made walk-in closets were created for the bedrooms. The kitchen areas were manufactured and designed by the Italian company Miton. Pools and artificial lakes are integrated in the balconies, camouflaged by the organic volumes.
