The house functions as a landscape formation, integrating architectural forms to create an experience in which landscape and architecture become a coherent whole. An inner courtyard, carved into the terrain, acts as a light well, orienting living spaces toward the lake to the northeast while capturing sunlight from the southwest. The courtyard pool echoes the distant lake visible on the horizon.
Two volumes trace the spatial logic of the former dwelling and farm buildings that once stood on the site, housing residential and auxiliary functions and connected by an entrance hall beneath a continuous green roof. The interior further strengthens the link with nature. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames the surrounding landscape, allowing nature to become part of the interior experience. The open-plan ground floor layout blurs spatial divisions, shaping zones through elements such as stairs, furniture, and floral compositions while avoiding conventional partitions. Earth-toned materials, natural textures, sculptural lighting, and a spa area create a calm, family retreat.
