The interior design of the reconstructed farmstead in the village of Rancířov is based on a respectful dialogue between rural heritage and contemporary living. The concept preserves the original spatial logic of the farmhouse, while introducing new layers that enhance comfort without suppressing the character of the place.

Natural materials such as wood, stone, and textured plaster form the foundation of the interior, emphasizing tactility, durability, and authenticity. A distinctive color palette, defined by the client, plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere. Soft, muted tones are used to unify individual spaces and subtly reference traditional rural interiors, while their contemporary application gives the house a fresh and timeless expression. The open living area connects kitchen, dining, and relaxation spaces into a communal heart of the home, reflecting the social nature of rural life.

Rather than replicating history, the project interprets it through careful detailing, craftsmanship, and restrained design, allowing the interior to feel both rooted in its context and naturally evolving over time.
