Located in Datça, the project transforms a small plot with dual street frontage into a rational architectural strategy. To maximize garden use, the building is conceived as a linear mass set back within the plot, fragmented to achieve a contextually integrated expression.
The ground floor features a continuous spatial sequence extending toward the garden, while a semi-permeable pergola creates a controlled threshold that filters daylight. These volumetric movements result in high-ceilinged, spacious interiors, defined by natural light and a restrained material palette. The extensive use of natural stone references Datça’s local language, established in balanced contrast with contemporary interior finishes. Equipped with integrated solar panels and a drought-resistant landscape of local species, like olive and lavender, the project proposes a sustainable and clear living environment where contextual sensitivity defines the contemporary architectural approach.
