LAMELLA

The Lamella chair collection represents a reintroduction of the conference room chair, using plywood as the main used material. Regarding shaping of the material, the design is based on the know-how of the FORMDESIGN company.

The Lamella chair consists of two organically shaped sheets of plywood. While the first plywood part consists of an upholstered seat and a support, the second part creates a frame for its seating. The armrests are complemented and highlighted by a milled part made of solid wood, which forms a distinctive, fully functional and pleasing to the eye detail of the collection. The shell of the conference chair is designed to be a perfect support for the body, and to provide maximum comfort while sitting. This is achieved by dividing the support for the back and arms, so that, when sitting down, the backrest gently springs and the hands can rest comfortably on the armrests.

The Lamella collection offers a wide range of configuration options. The shell can be combined with different types of chair bases, from a conventional metal cross to an elegant wooden bent base. Owing to this variability, the Lamella chair fits into a variety of environments.
