Nominator's statement

Ioanna is one of my ex students that is distinguished for the excellence of styling, the austere in geometry balance, impressive color and material combinations.

Her communication level is remarkable, she is always listening and gaining knowledge and returns with innovative ideas and professional results. The point that i admire her is the focus on the details. Besides interior she is designing bespoke pieces of furniture that many brands would love to have in their collection.

Personally I have collaborated with her a few times in new furniture designs and I believe that is a creative person that we need to have an eye on.

She changed her career after a recent sudden dramatic event in her life and now is chasing her dream and already adds value to the Greek Design community.

Her short future plans are collaborating with European furniture brands, for furniture and interior projects and she is already founding a studio.

A talented creative woman that I am proud of, and I would love to see her among the BIG SEE Perspectives.

HOME OF TWO AND MORE

Home of Two is a complete residential design project that showcases a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to contemporary living. It covers the full design process—from spatial planning and materials to color palette and lighting—creating a cohesive and functional home.

A key element is the collaboration with Greek manufacturers, highlighting local craftsmanship. Custom furniture was designed specifically for the space, emphasizing simplicity, precision, and refined detail.

Notable features include a vertical bookcase with integrated lighting and handmade decorative objects tailored to the residents’ daily needs. Overall, the project reflects a human-centered philosophy, combining practicality, aesthetics, and meaningful design.

​An interior design project for a wedding services office, created in collaboration with Greek manufacturers, featuring bespoke furniture tailored to enhance both functionality and experience. The centerpiece is an organically shaped, nature-inspired desk designed to boost workflow while offering clients a sense of comfort and ease. Custom elements include a dedicated table for selecting materials, photos, and samples, supporting a smooth and engaging planning process. The space is defined by soft, bright pastel tones of beige and white, creating a calm, elegant atmosphere ideal for organizing life’s most meaningful events.

Aline’s office renovation translates the brand’s identity into a warm, contemporary workspace rooted in Cretan nature. Inspired by the contrast of sunlit yellow and deep green, the design creates a balanced atmosphere that feels both energetic and grounded. Custom-made melamine furniture responds to the company’s core material while ensuring functionality and coherence across all spaces. Clean lines, integrated storage, and glass partitions enhance transparency and flow, while curated details express craftsmanship and care. The project emphasizes hospitality, collaboration, and everyday wellbeing—reflecting a culture where people come together to work, share, and enjoy life.
