Giuseppe Gianolio, born in Asti in February 1972, graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1997 from Politecnico di Torino and earned his PhD in 2001, focusing on electrical motor efficiency and unconventional renewable energy applications. In 2002, he became the Director of HYSYLAB, an applied research Laboratory specializing in Hydrogen Technologies at the Environment Park in Turin. In 2006, he founded Electro Power System, a groundbreaking technology company that received awards from institutions such as The Guardian, WEF Davos, and GSM Association for its innovations in the energy sector. Gianolio served as CTO until 2011. In 2010, he established VASS Technologies with a focus on developing advanced off-site construction solutions integrating high-tech energy systems and wood-based materials. The company successfully executed over 100 projects in Italy, characterized by off-site production, use of natural materials, renewable energy, gas-free construction, NZEB Building, and turnkey solutions.
