Since 1999, Zavod BIG has been shaping architecture and design with a vision to inspire change – with design festival Month of Design / BIG Design (since 2003) and later with BIG Architecture Festival (since 2008). Over the years, both platforms have brought together professionals, companies, and the public; showcased best practices; conferred awards; and accelerated international cooperation across Southeast Europe and beyond.

In 2026, to achieve stronger synergies, greater visibility, and higher impact, we are merging both programmes into a single, comprehensive event: the BIG SEE Festival. The new format will bring design and architecture under one roof, continue to celebrate excellence through the BIG SEE Awards, and further strengthen networking and measurable business outcomes for the entire region and beyond.
