The Vienna-based company FARA turns conventional fire extinguishers into handsome, unique design objects. Every FARA extinguisher is hand-finished and helps you in case of emergency. With currently 3 different extinguisher types (powder, foam and co2) on the market various kinds of fire sources are covered. The original idea was to create fire extinguishers not only being a necessary and lifesaving gadget but much more a piece of pleasure and a piece of personal expression. Starting with models to be personalized for brands, office spaces and private homes, FARA now creates all kind of designs. Collaborations with local artists as well as the creation of signature looks are the design company’s core passion. Producing locally, the design process goes hand in hand with producers, craftsmen and local creatives chosen for a collection.
