The Candle Holders 01 are part of the Light Collection of VMD Objects, and are constructed from Greek stones; smooth white Volakas marble with veining, and beige Porolithos at the base, as well as brushed oxidized bronze as the belt around the candles. This Greek, handcrafted, luxury product, is 9cm in length, 9cm in width, and 15cm in height. Firmly suspended between form and function, these candleholders make for both a household accessory, and a micro-sculptural centerpiece. A fascinating element of these objects is their combination of textures and materials. The smoothness and coarseness of the stones juxtapose each other and highlight the diversity of the minerals found in the Greek landscape.
