Cadeira Itiquira

The Itiquira Chair was conceived as a tribute to the designer’s father, who made simple wooden stools, full of warmth and presence. That childhood memory became the inspiration to revisit the act of craftsmanship, now through the lens of contemporary design. The project brings memory and innovation together: reviving hand-worked wood, with the care and tradition of the craft, combined with cutting-edge technologies that enable precision and sophistication.

The result is a piece that carries the warmth of family memory while looking to the future of Brazilian design. Itiquira has become a symbol of Casa da Abelha and has already been recognised nationally, showing that personal memory can be transformed into a universal object, capable of evoking affection, comfort and cultural identity.
