The excitement could not have been greater when Benjamin Schneider and Patrick Krummenacher announced the Grand Opening of this sophisticated restoration in the popular ski resort of Lech a. Arlberg in December 2024. The two owners set out to bring together an elegant restaurant, a contemporary concept store, and a unique club (Margo’s) under one roof.

The historic building stock was preserved (in cooperation with Jürgen Kitzmüller, Architektur) and extensively restored. On approx. 430 m2, an ensemble of first-class gastronomy with bistro character, curated shopping experience, and cool clubbing was created in loving detail and with a special understanding of the personal wishes and clear ideas of the builders. A unique place of encounter, with creative vision and great passion for building and designing with valuable cultural assets. Starting from the wood-paneled core of the house, a design was conceived with a lot of creativity and special feeling, which is reflected in particular in soft shapes, natural stone (travertine), individual wood and metalwork, as well as decorative antique glazing. An individually selected mix of material qualities in warm colors that connect all levels creates a feeling of Mediterranean lightness and well-being that was so important to the clients.

One of the biggest challenges was to create the “course” from the basement (club) to the restaurant / bar to the upper floor (concept store) and thus intelligently connect the three areas.
