Archetype

The architectural online magazine, Archetype, guided by the core principles of pluralism, reliability, and well-documented critical discourse, constitutes a credible hub of architectural information, serving as a point of reference for practicing architects, as well as for the academic community in Greece and abroad. To this end, it seeks to combine the fast pace of the Internet with the quality and reflection ensured by the rhythm of a print publication. In this way, it shapes its dual identity: on the one hand, an informative one, within which architectural current affairs in Greece and internationally are presented; on the other hand, a research-oriented one, within which texts on the history of architecture, critical analysis and opinion, as well as theory of architecture and art, are published. A central presence is, of course, the critical presentation of high-quality, built architectural work, itself an expression of contemporary design pluralism. Ultimately, Archetype forms a comprehensive identity, grounded both in free thought and in the multifaceted presentation of the complex field of creative activity that architecture represents.
