The “Ansitz Steinbock” is a timeless, castle-like building with an aristocratic manor house character from the 15th century, situated in a rural idyll and is a complete ensemble under direct monument protection. With great sensitivity and appreciation for the historical heritage, the “soul of the house” was uncovered in a courageous deconstruction of the historic masonry, and 12 exclusive suites were created. The credo was the vision to realize holistic, high-quality, and stylish architecture and interior design in line with the architectural style and its tradition with the sensitive conversion. The aim was to create a harmonious interior design with the à la carte restaurant and the garden terrace as an open-air restaurant. Away from the clichés and over-forming of the 80s, the “alpine kitsch”, towards a stylish ambiance with the highest aesthetic standards.
