OUT OF SPACE

Out of SPACE was designed for the fourth-year course 'Interior Design 3'. The project task was to redefine the basement floor of the Faculty of Architecture building in Sarajevo, which wad done in collaboration with Ajla Mašović. SPACE is a multifunctional area divided into three zones: a work, rest, and socializing zone, a presentation and movement zone, and a kitchen and sanitary zone. The work, rest, and social zone is organized on different levels to create spatial dynamism and to optimize the limited natural light available in the space. Work tables with chairs are positioned along the far left and right sides, while the central area features bleachers that also function as seating during presentations and exhibitions. The presentation and movement zone is fluid and open, with a centrally positioned stage. Additionally, a custom line of furniture was designed to complete the project, including three types of chairs, two types of lamps, and a combined hanger/presentation panel.

WHIMSY CORNER

Whimsy Corner was designed for the fourth-year course 'Urban Design 4'. The project task involved redesigning a neglected green space in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Grbavica. The project is structured into three zones: socialization, urban farming, and playground. The idea was to create an inclusive space for Grbavica residents of various age groups. The socialization zone provides an area for rest and informal gatherings and can also function as a small stage for community events. The urban farming zone promotes intergenerational interaction and encourages a shared community activity. The playground zone offers a safe environment for younger residents to spend time outdoors and strengthen their connection to the neighborhood and community.

MELLOW YELLOW
Mellow Yellow was designed for the fourth-year course 'Design of Tourism and Hospitality Buildings'. The project brief focused on redefining an overlooked area of Sarajevo through architectural intervention. Yellow is conceived as a thematic hotel built around the concept of a monochromatic exterior shell combined with a polychromatic interior. The monochromatic exterior was selected to integrate more subtly into the existing urban context, while a dynamic façade allows the building to stand out as a spatial landmark. In contrast, the polychromatic interior introduces vibrancy and aims to evoke playfulness, happiness, and childlike wonder in visitors. Key features of the hotel include green atriums on the ground floor and “Cozy Corners” on the top floor, designed for socialization, work, and relaxation.
