The wide, slim shape of the Acustica lampshade is inspired by the cymbal of a drum kit, but reverses the musical concept by absorbing sound from the space, to create a high level of acoustic comfort. Its naturally inclined angle, and its lightness, make possible dynamic and creative compositions of multiple lamps, whilst the light source itself remains central and fixed. Acustica is available in a range of colour variations, and is ideal for use in public spaces such as restaurants and luxury offices, as well as large waiting areas. The Acustica collection consists of three indoor pendant lamps with sound- absorbing properties, in diameters of 60 cm, 90 cm or 120 cm, and it is also available in two wall lamps in the diameters of 60 cm and 90 cm with all the same technical characteristics. The shell is made from recycled PET, the structure is black anodised aluminium, and the diffuser is opal PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate). The LED source is available as 1-10V dimmable, DALI/PUSH, or phase cut, with an integrated power supply. Both versions are highly efficient and flicker-free.
