The plot designated for hiša C (house C) is narrow and long, situated just below the access road, on a slope that descends toward the west and ends with a beautiful forest, offering a view of the Barje marshes and the southern Barje hills. It is the last house before the forest to the north. We designed a narrow, long, partially sunken, two-story house that adapts to the terrain. The house is restrained in volume and form, unobtrusive.

The upper floor is wider than the lower one and forms a staggered, covered volume over the ground-level terrace. The attic volume is created by a symmetrical gable roof that covers the parking area, the entrance with a bicycle storage area, the attic living area – an office, a bedroom with a walk-in closet and a bathroom, and a living – dining area with a kitchen – and continues onto the covered, south-facing terrace. The ground floor houses two children’s rooms, a laundry room, an unheated gym, and a storage room. A panoramic wall forms the corner of the living area. Due to the proximity of the path, the house does not open to the east, except through skylights, which indirectly bring the morning sun into the space, even into the partially sunken ground floor. Through the landscaping, we connected the longitudinal levels of the terrain with gentle slopes to create a south-facing garden and a west-facing park / themed playground.
