This multi-generational house combines community and privacy. A shared entrance links two independent units, fostering connection while allowing private retreats. Offset volumes create clearly defined interior and exterior spaces, blending individual havens with a central, shared area. Clean lines and carefully placed openings frame landscape views and flood rooms with natural light.
Expansive glazing connects living areas to private gardens, while covered terraces extend the home outdoors. Parts of the existing structure were retained for secondary rooms and a garage. A charred wood façade shapes the exterior, and inside, warm wooden surfaces and high-quality materials create a calm, timeless atmosphere. The design enables generations to live together, connected yet distinctly private.
