In the 18th century, HOF_29 was used for lace-making and embroidery. This historic building, with its gabled roof and pointed dormer, has been completely renovated to reveal its hidden potential and showcase its history. Redensification through timber construction creates the necessary interior and exterior spaces, allowing the garage to be demolished.

This restores the original ground floor layout and preserves the building’s spatial structure, a key part of its identity. Existing elements, such as roof tiles, windows, shutters, and entrance doors, are retained and reused. Sandstone window frames have been exposed. The extension’s clear architectural language combines contemporary timber architecture with historic masonry to create a sustainable building for living and working. HOF_29 is an example of responsible construction that unites tradition with contemporary use.
