Wabi-sabi is a Japanese aesthetic that embraces imperfection, subtle colors, and the natural qualities of materials. This apartment in Belgrade was inspired by that concept, with an emphasis on honest materials, textured surfaces, and a balanced furniture layout. The 180-square-meter space is divided into day and night zones.

The entryway includes a wardrobe and guest toilet, while the right side opens to a living room with a kitchen, dining area, and terrace. An open layout, soft neutral tones, and good natural light enhance the feeling of spaciousness. Warm shades of white, beige, and light gray dominate, along with wooden finishes on floors, kitchen elements, and chairs. Plants, layered lighting, and a mix of wood, fabric, stone, and glass create visual depth, with subtle black details adding contrast. The left side of the apartment contains the sleeping area and bathrooms. Each of the three bedrooms is designed with textured wall treatments, curated color palettes, soft materials, and modern furniture, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere.
