Right next to the garden house, the opportunity arose to expand the property with another old building: a semi-derelict house from the mid-17th century, which originally served as a supply depot for the log drivers on the Enns River near Steyr. It housed a blacksmith’s shop, sleeping quarters, and several cooking areas, traces of which are still visible in the vaulted ceilings. We also reconstructed a long-demolished wooden conservatory. Today, the property comprises three residential units on three floors.
