Shortly after his diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna he opened his own office in 2003. The focus is on a holistic approach to architecture with not only energy efficient but also climate neutral and resource-safeing concepts. Projects were awarded with the Green Good Design Award, Greenbuilding FrankfurtRheinMain Award, International Chicago Athenaeum Award, several Timber Construction Awards and Energy Efficiency Awards. From 2020 he held a professorship at the HFT Stuttgart and from 2023 at the TU Vienna.
