He studied architecture in Ljubljana (1992–1998), philosophy in Padua (2002–2004), and theology in London (2007–2010). From 2004 to 2007, he lived in Albania, where he taught and drew before returning to his homeland in 2010. Since then, he has been fully dedicated to architecture. Between 2000 and 2024, he designed, renovated, or adapted over 30 private and public buildings, including 15 sacred spaces. In recent years, his focus has been primarily on renovations and the revitalization of architectural heritage. He occasionally writes and lectures. As an architect, he has worked in Slovenia, Albania, the United Kingdom, Hungary, and Italy.
