We are micromega, an architecture and urban design office, founded in Athens, Greece, in 2016 by Alexandros Zomas and Mara Papavasileiou. Our professional experience ranges from hospitality and residential projects, to office and public building design.

We embrace a holistic approach for designing commercial projects, specially in the hospitality and leisure field, from micro- to mega- scales. Our firm has developed over the years as a one-stop shop for unique concepts that combine branding and spatial design. Our aspiration is to create a strategic vision linking the uniqueness of each project to the architecture and the visual storytelling of the brand.

Our work has received numerous awards in competitions in Greece and abroad, while it has been published in the press and exhibited in several occasions, among which is the Biennale of Young Greek Architects. In 2019, we received the Prize for the Best Project 2014-2018 from Domés Magazine Awards and have been distinguished with the prestigious Europe 40Under40 Award as one of the most promising and emerging design talents in Europe, as announced by the European Centre of Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies and the Chicago Atheneum:Museum of Art and Design.
