The project is an extension to the existing nursery building in the Municipality of Hegykő. The new spaces open directly towards the garden, enhancing the children’s connection to the outdoor play area. Passages of internal staircases resolve the level difference between the old and new structures.
The extension accommodates a new entrance, dressing room, children’s bathroom, gym, and children’s room. Its volume draws on both the archetypal house shape familiar to children and the architectural character of the region. Gabled roofs, playful asymmetries, and carefully placed openings define the building’s expression, while bright colors reinforce its welcoming, child-oriented atmosphere.
