ISHI – sustainable luxury luminaire ISHI (from Japanese “stone”) is a luminaire inspired by the smooth form of river pebbles – a timeless symbol of calm, purity, and the flow of time. It stands at the intersection of functional design and art, becoming an iconic object for contemporary interiors.
Each piece is unique, crafted from BrokisGlass, a noble material developed by Brokis that gives new life to glass shards by transforming them into sustainable, high-end glass panels. The upper part features a delicate diffuser made from recycled plastic by Plastic Guys, ensuring soft, natural light distribution. Both materials meet in a precisely crafted metal frame, adding strength and elegance. The result is a harmonious whole that unites recycled glass, metal, and plastic into one sustainable form.
ISHI is made for luxury hotels, residences, and galleries—spaces where design is expected to convey more than function, where story and identity matter. This is not mass production, but careful craftsmanship that brings long-lasting value and becomes an icon within the space. Rooted in the idea of “less noise, more meaning,” ISHI offers simplicity and natural calm in a world oversaturated with visual clutter—a light that does not shout, but resonates.
Available in two sizes and a wide range of colour variations, ISHI can be combined in clusters to create dynamic installations, from intimate atmospheres to monumental compositions. Its high level of customisation allows architects and designers to tailor it to the mood and character of each project. ISHI is more than light. It is a silent stone in the river of time—a reminder that design can be both luxurious and sustainable.
