The architect approached the renovation with a methodology spanning from urban planning to the smallest details. While the existing structure on the site was slated for demolition, the architect recognized the potential of the traditional farmhouse granary and preserved it. She transformed the agricultural building into living spaces, retaining the characteristic elements that still speak of their past while being entirely modern. By reducing the floor area, redesigning the layout, and opening up the space to natural light, the architect established open and bright living spaces that serve as a frame for a contemporary interior. The interior is further enriched by selected artwork and custom-designed furniture elements, which infuse the spaces with a rich personal touch.
