This new interpretation of the classical toy car is inspired by the monoposto Grand Prix racers of the 1920s and 1930s. The retro design was realised by use of new materials and injection moulding processes. The cars are made of a sturdy, sustainable composite of wood fibres and recycled plastic derived from items that would otherwise end up in landfills.
This results in light-running toy race cars that cut an equally good figure both on the play mat and as a collector’s item on the shelf. Ethically designed and made in Europe and already winning races, the Grand Prix Racing Car has earned a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018. It is available in 6 colours, perfect for racing with friends while helping the environment.
