MetaDesign, Germany
Florian Dengler has been working as Creative Director at MetaDesign since April 2004, where he manages projects for clients such as Triumph, Siemens, and Lufthansa. After studying design at the Art Center College of Design in Switzerland, Dengler began his creative career at Pixelpark, a leading German multimedia agency. He then moved to the international design agency Frogdesign, where he became director of digital media.
Before joining MetaDesign, he worked as creative director of marketing and communications at the fashion company Klaus Steilmann GmbH in Bochum. In addition to publishing several books on web design and brand management strategy, he has lectured at various conferences and seminars.
His current clients and projects include: Triumph, 2007–2009, where he repositioned and rebranded one of the world’s largest lingerie brands; Babylon, 2008, a provocative and highly successful exhibition campaign entitled “Babylon. Myth and Truth,” which attracted more than 500,000 visitors; Premiere, 2008–2009, the redesign of Germany’s leading pay-TV provider, including the creation of an audio and video presentation of the brand. For more than ten years, MetaDesign has been ranked among Europe’s leading brand management agencies. The company manages and designs identity processes at the “meta” level in order to adapt business operations to the growing importance of identities and brands. Visual communication is at the core of their work, not only as a criterion for articulating vision and strategy, but also as a way of creating the emotions and experiences that a brand offers. The agency’s design concepts provide ongoing support for companies, helping them to develop and manage their power to create emotions.
