Equinox is a cave villa integrated into the rocky surroundings, lying on one level and having an unobstructed view of the Aegean Sea. Shaped by a blend of traditional–modern Cycladic architecture with a hint of bohemianism, enriched by natural materiality & inspired by contemporary summer living. Its unique and wild location, forthlooking Syros island, following the path of the sun, until it sinks into the deep blue waters of the Aegean awakens the senses of the visitor. A cave villa, a single-level space, where the limits of separation between the interior and exterior are nearly invisible. In keeping with the iconic Mykonian scenery, earthy tones such as gray and terracotta were carefully selected, creating a unified visual palette that harmonizes with the natural surroundings. The sequence of natural light scenarios, created using carefully designed gaps and solar chimneys, specific points, adds a vivid dramatic dimension while it fills with energy all the living spaces. The mix of minimalism with rich textures and handcrafted details creates an energizing aura where nothing is overbearing but just right.
