Ena Kukić

E+D, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Ena Kukić (born in Sarajevo, 1990) works in architecture through research, practice, and teaching, exploring spatial frameworks of collective memory. Her design projects within E+D Studio, along with her recently completed PhD, identify and reinterpret architectural typologies across the post-Yugoslav space, cultivating spaces of collectivity and participation. Her work has received numerous awards, most notably the Austrian GAD Award (2018) and two National Collegium Artisticum awards in Bosnia and Herzegovina—for Best Newcomer (2018) and Best Design Project (2019). Ena has presented her work at Princeton University, the Royal Danish Academy, the Tallinn Architecture Biennale, UC Chile, Syracuse University, TU Vienna, and the Kosovo Architecture Festival, among others.
