Inspiration: A futuristic interstellar travel to Planet ABODI, a place where all our dreams become reality. Nancy, an Eastern European librarian, comes across Slim Aaron’s iconic photo ‘Poolside Gossip’ in a glossy magazine and she is shocked by the idyllic beauty and glamour of the privileged living in 1970s sunny California. The aesthetics of the place mixed with bold, royal elements is one of the main characteristics of ABODI which is loved by stars like Taylor Swift, Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, Grimes, Rita Ora, Janelle Monae, Selma Blair, Paris Hilton, Dita Von Teese, Tony Braxton, Fergie, Lady Gaga, Bella Thorne, Lindsay Lohan.
Dora’s signature style can be defined as baroque futurism; fusing past and future classical art and religious rituals with high technology: something ancient, instinctive and opulent mixed with rigid, robotic technology creates a new religion, a meeting of very different cultures. The brand is conscious in representing an ethical point of view in fashion, not using real fur, exotic leathers or any materials from uncontrolled origin.
