COO COO, birdhouse

Almost as drawn in a single stroke, a sheet of thin aluminium is bent into a shape of a house to create a home for our everyday neighbours, birds. The closed shape obtained is joined and welded in a spot where two ends of the metal sheet meet. A wooden stick is fitted onto the joint to hide it and create a bar which birds use to land and feed. Airy, almost invisible from one side and clearly perceivable from the other side as a birdhouse, instead of being marginalized, Coo Coo becomes a desirable product which can even fit in interiors or be used as a decorative element.
