Constantinos Economides is a member of the DRAW Collective from 2012 to 2018. He is also a member of the ME Design Studio, which he established with Daniel Meyer in Germany in 2016. Additionally, he is part of ΦΧΨ Heritage Design, a group that specializes in creating objects and installations inspired by local topography and heritage. Furthermore, he runs his own studio in Nicosia, focusing on designing interiors, objects, and furniture.

Constantinos earned an MA in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London between 2005 and 2007. His work has been recognized in international competitions and showcased in exhibitions worldwide, including London, Belgrade, Valencia, Hamburg, and Milan, such as Salone Satellite Milan (2006/2012/2013) and Valencia Design Week (2011). Additionally, his work has won prestigious awards such as D&AD and the German Design Award in 2018.

He has worked together with well-known and influential designers, including the Campana brothers and Michael Sodeau. He is also an alumnus and has participated in Boisbuchet Summer Workshops in France, which were organized in cooperation with the Center Georges Pompidou and the Vitra Design Museum.

His design practice aims to balance a combination of craft and mass production. He strongly believes that the correct design of products should focus on the emotional and narrative commitment of the object to the user through its design language. Unfortunately, this design concept is often overlooked, resulting in products that are either over-designed or under-designed. Additionally, an important aspect of his work is the relationship between aesthetics and functionality, which is an integral part of the design process. At every step in this process, two key questions are asked: how does it work? And what does it look like?

During his academic career, he served as a Lecturer at Frederick University from 2008 to 2018. Later in 2024, he resumed his teaching profession as a Visiting Lecturer at the same university. He has also delivered lectures and presentations at the University of Applied Sciences North Karelia, Joensuu, Finland, the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig, HBK, Germany, and the Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta.

He led and mentored the OPEN UP Design Lab from 2021 to 2023. The lab was coordinated by the Pieridis Foundation, as part of the European Cultural Program “Creative Europe”. The lab collaborated with other European universities, such as the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece, Valand Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.
