With its 7,38-meter length and 2,46-meter width, the Capoforte SQ240i can carry up to ten people, embodying a new sailing philosophy in under eight meters. For this model, Christian Grande has designed shapes specifically for electric propulsion. “The lines should not express speed, but rather harmony, closely tied to a relaxed and leisurely form of navigation,” he explained. “Capoforte has successfully captured the essence of this owner, who values a calm experience over speed. From an engineering perspective, a specific type of lamination was selected, carefully designed to optimize efficiency with this type of propulsion.”
The wide, rounded bow allows for a deck layout centered on comfort. “The relaxed and sociable atmosphere on deck is enhanced by a highly versatile layout, where a large folding table can be replaced by an additional cushion,” says Christian Grande. “In this second configuration, the entire bow section transforms into a full-beam sundeck for maximum comfort.”
The central console ensures easy and safe movement around the boat, with a design that evokes an elegant high-tech piece of furniture, without overemphasizing a dynamic appearance, which would be out of place for this type of product. The spacious central sundeck at the stern allows full enjoyment of the wide swim platform.
On the SQ240i, the spirit of Capoforte models is elevated by a sophisticated color palette that conveys both elegance and lightness, starting with the Chalk White hull. The color scheme, combining radiant bright tones with electric blue lines, evokes the dynamic energy of electricity, while reflecting the deep connection to the water element.
