ARCHITECTURE
Cadence
Cadence is a landmark mixed-use ‘courtyard tower,’ comprising 113 market and 50 affordable dwellings above a base of commercial and social spaces. Framing the axis of Lewis Cubitt Park, the quietly flamboyant building reinforces King’s Cross’ identity with its distinctive deep-orange brick palette and idiosyncratic arched language, which define both its base and upper stories. Designed as a six-sided perimeter block with two towers rising 12 and 16 storeys,

Almost Mirrored Twin House
The project’s refined formal language abstracts the essence of the local vernacular. Each house, adorned in pastel pink and pastel yellow both inside and out, reflects the characteristic hues of Hungarian village homes. Designed as single-level residences, the linear form of each house is thoughtfully divided into an entrance courtyard, central courtyard, and rear garden. This configuration ensures that every room is flooded with natural light and opens to

Schwedler-Carré
Frankfurt’s Ostend district had been an industrial area since the late 19th century. In 1912, the Osthafen (eastern harbour) began operations, followed by the opening of the wholesale market in 1928, designed by Martin Elsaesser. Change began in the 1970s, as offices and small-scale commercial operations gradually emerged alongside factories and workers’ housing. Since the mid-2000s, Ostend has been rapidly transforming into a socially and functionally mixed urban district
Hagener Straße
The new development replaces the existing buildings along Hagener Straße, which could no longer be renovated. Three new structures on both sides of the street create passageways that connect the neighborhood with its surroundings: to the north, they lead to the adjacent forest; to the south, they open onto communal courtyard spaces. An additional building on the corner of Lüdenscheider Straße completes the ensemble and marks the entrance to

With around 4.500 employees at its headquarters and approximately 17.000 worldwide, the company commissioned Nattler Architekten to design a modern staff restaurant. An old residential building was demolished to make way for this new oasis of well-being, which also improves food delivery logistics.
