The historic character of the apartment and building, along with the spirit of Vienna and the Jugendstil era, has been carefully restored. Original elements were authentically rebuilt and reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Invisible heating-and-cooling ceilings replace radiators and air-conditioning units.
A new star parquet complements the restored herringbone floors, while hand-drawn cove moldings revive the elegance of past epochs. A hand-crafted, historic tiled stove serves as a centerpiece. Bathrooms feature artisanal cement tiles, with fine marble in the second bath. Some furnishings are original Jugendstil pieces, adding historical depth. Windows and doors were reconstructed true to the originals, allowing the splendor of a bygone era to shine again in a modern, refined form.
