Act – Arthritis Curved Tableware

ACT is a set of 4 flexible cutlery dedicated for people suffering from arthritis or other diseases that affect the mobility of the hands. The variable geometry of the handle allows the user to change the shape of the cutlery whenever needed, especially when the disease evolves. ACT is a set of 4 cutlery : spoon, fork, spork and knife. ACT is the result of disease research, sketches, materials testing and discussions with doctors and patients. Each prototype was tested by the beneficiaries and constantly improved on the basis of direct feedback. That’s how we came to the 5th prototype, which is the final product.
