Nestled between the black mountains in the picturesque middle-age town of Kotor, and the beautiful Montenegrin coastline, Stari Mlini is virtually submerged in the waters of the wild river Ljuta. Stari Mlini was originally a flour mill in the 1700s. Some 300 years later, the Djurica family preserved this historic mill in the form of a fairytale restaurant. For over 40 years now, the restaurant has been elegantly curating traditional dishes from locally-sourced catch and produce to serve foodies from around the world with the culinary expertise that has been passed down through generations. Offering an exclusive yet casual dining experience of superb quality, Stari Mlini’s menu focuses on fresh seafood dishes from the Boka region. With a private parking and marina, the restaurant caters to diners that arrive by land and sea.
