Musholla (Islamic Chapel) is shaped by its trapezoidal site and divided into two volumes – the prayer hall and its service wing. The main space is surrounded by a covered veranda, clad in perforated bricks that filter sunlight and create a shaded zone for gathering and reflection. The brick lattice produces a poetic play of light and shadow, enriching the spiritual atmosphere within.
The elevated prayer hall is crowned by a cylindrical dome with a narrow, vertical slit through which light descends like a celestial beam, symbolizing the divine presence of Allah. The height of the dome recalls a minaret, while the slit defines the Qibla direction, guiding worshippers toward Mecca. The color and material palette reinforces this spiritual narrative: the white façade expresses purity and transcendence, contrasting with lush greenery, while a golden ring atop the dome signifies divine light and majesty.
