Small-scale design studio from a small city, but with true grit. Founded by Ante Filipović Grčić in 2012 as the culmination of a longstanding desire for independent creative work. Honest craftsmanship, artistic integrity, and well-thought-out design are the basic principles of our work. It is essential for us to preserve the core functional values of different design disciplines (visual communication design, product design, site-specific interventions), which are often interspersed throughout our works. We strive to remain consistent with our own visual language so that our works, in this highly commercialized world ruled by temporary fads, last longer than one season.
Founder, Designer
Ante Filipović Grčić was born on 16 November 1969. He studied design at the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, majoring in Textile and Fashion Design. After a short stint working in the textile industry and a few years in a sales corporation, he worked as a designer in two marketing agencies. In September 2012, he founded his own design studio, collaborating mostly with art institutions and associations. He gradually expanded his interest to exhibition design, site-specific installations, and industrial design. In his works, he often combines practical experiences from different design disciplines.
