
Vladimir Lojanica

Arch. Vladimir Lojanica, is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, at the Department of Architecture. He was born in 1969 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade in 1995, where he has been employed since 1996. He was vice dean for teaching from 2009-2012, head of the Department of Architecture from 2015-2021. and from 2021 is the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. In the field of scientific teaching work, focus is on the study of housing issues, for which he also wrote a textbook. He gave guest lectures and workshops in Melbourne, Rome, South Korea, and Tokyo. In 2004, he founded the architectural studio Proaspekt and participated in public national and international competitions where he won numerous top prizes and recognitions. He is the author of 20 completed buildings, 5 buildings under construction, over 50 urban planning projects, program-spatial studies, conceptual and main designs. He was awarded three times with the Award of the Salon of Architecture, twice with the Awards of the Salon of Architecture, three times with the Award of the UAS “Aleksej Brkić” for the most successful work in all areas of architecture, the Award of the International Union of Architects in 2018, the Award of the UAS for Lifetime Achievement, the April award of the city of Belgrade, nominated three times for the EU Miss Van Der Rohe award, exhibited twice at the Architecture Biennale in Venice.
