The K pavilion, also known as “Fresh Bar” has been used as a btl advertisement tool. The Kaufland logo transforms itself into a festival landmark. The flexible configuration ensures a multitude of experiences ranging from a lookout point where you can gaze upon your surroundings to a fresh bar where you can enjoy your drink, multiple types of sitting spots, chillout areas, sun shaders and more.
The modular structural system is composed of wooden beams held together by metallic bolts, ensuring a flexible and easy to assemble design.
What makes this project one-of-a-kind?

About the author
Horia Spirescu
Studio Act is a progressive community of architects which operates at the intersection of architecture, science, and the public sphere. The studio uses research, writing, and drawing explorations to investigate and document the contemporary production of space and shape.
Through collaborations and exchanges, Studio Act develops urban studies, architecture, landscape and object design.
Regardless of scale, each project registers with careful consideration of architectural detail, ongoing investigation into material composition, craft and experiential quality.
At the heart of our practice is the idea of calling into question the context we live in, turning it into a true design tool, in order to rethink conventional typologies and ways of living.
