Rok Oblak
Rok Oblak lives and works in Ljubljana, where he is employed as an independent cultural worker. After completing his studies in industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, he lived for several years in Vancouver, Canada, where he completed a master’s degree in applied arts and was awarded the Governor General’s Gold Medal for Best Academic Achievement. Upon returning to Slovenia, he joined the organizations Prostorož and Trajna, which work on socially and ecologically focused projects, and helped co-create the production space Krater. He is also a co-founder of the workshop Levo, where he operates under the name Salto Dionys, primarily in the field of ceramic product design. His specialty lies in creating products from wild clay, mushroom mycelium, and other biocomposites, and he also develops tools and devices to assist in manual work with various materials.
