In 1981, at the age of 21, Fritz Eiber had the idea to start his own small business. After an apprenticeship as a wholesale merchant, he recognized a gap in the market and began to bring Italian lighting design to Austria. In his specialist shop in the centre of his hometown of Wels, he combined his love of good design and his passion for Italy. He himself established contact with the first suppliers, with whom he still has a close friendship and business relationship today. He transported the products himself and put them on the warehouse shelves. Molto Luce quickly became well-known for its special range of high-quality luminaires. Today, 42 years later, Molto Luce is an internationally established lighting specialist. And more than that, since 2002 the company has been developing and producing a comprehensive range of functional LED lighting solutions at its Austrian production site.
