In Pinto, fragments of marble and stone lie beneath a gentle, majestic surface, combining the gaiety of Venetian soirées with the mystery of primitive shapes. It is a mono-material coffee table 100% made in a special concrete, a mineral compound lacking any chemical or metal trace -a contemporary material that can handle any weather conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor adventures. The studio’s challenge was to empty it: being a non-reinforced concrete, they had to find a way to give it stability through the research of the right compound and the perfect mold, where the material can rest to obtain its distinctive solidity. The result is two harmonious and primitive shapes, that in their profiles bares the constraints of the material, with a minimum thickness of 1,8cm. To start the journey simply take a wander around it.
